Perry Jones III signs at Al Ahli

Perry Jones III

Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) signed Perry Jones III, a 32-year-old American forward who stands at 211cm tall. Jones, who played college basketball at Baylor, was represented by Slash Sports agency. He last played for Spartans in the Venezuelan SPB league, where he averaged 6.3ppg and 3.8rpg in 9 games last season. Prior to that, he played for Aquas in the Taiwanese T1 League.
In 2012, he was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in the first round (28th overall). He graduated from Baylor University, and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Jones is a very experienced player. He has traveled the world during his pro career, playing in ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). Jones has played professionally in the Dominican Republic (Los Prados), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Russia (Khimki), Taiwan (Fubon Braves and TB Herobears), Turkey (Bursaspor), Venezuela, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Boston Celtics, and OKC Thunder), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Windy City Bulls), and Big3 (Enemies).
He won the Taiwanese PLeague+ championship title in 2022.
